YOUR CIVIL RIGHTS UNDER TITLE VI

The Pennyrile Allied Community Services, Inc. agency adheres to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which states: "No person in the United States, shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." MAKING A TITLE VI COMPLAINT

Any person who believes he/she has been subjected to discrimination in the delivery of or access to public transportation services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, may file a complaint with the Pennyrile Allied Community Services, Inc., P.A.C.S. Such complaint must be filed in writing with P.A.C.S. no later then 7 days after the alledge discrimination. For more information on how to file a complaint, contact P.A.C.S. as listed below.

Written complaints may also be filed with the U. S. Department of Transporation/Federal Transit Administration (FTA) no later than 180 days after the date of the alledge discrimination, at the follow address: Office of Civil Rights, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor-TCR, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590.
