Businesses that collect and remit the restaurant tax are entitled to receive a credit equal to the total amount report and paid into the City against their occupational license fee due.  The non-refundable credit is only available for the tax year in which the occupational license fee is due and cannot be credited or offset against any subsequent year.

Filing Requirements

Every business collecting the 3% Restaurant Tax shall file a monthly form with the City and remit the restaurant taxes collected. The form and collection must be filed before the 20th day of each month for the proceeding month's sales.
