Councilman Mark Lee has resided in Madisonville with his family since 2000. He is married to Maria who owns Black Dog Fiber Studio located in a building they own and rehabbed downtown. Their son, Carson, is of the 2016 Class at Madisonville North Hopkins High School.
Mark earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and holds a Juris Doctor from University of Toledo College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Missouri and Kentucky. Mark is president and co-owner of The Paragon of Madisonville; Paragon Operations Group; and Paragon Development Consultants. He is Vice President of Development and Government Affairs and co-owner of Heartson Management, Inc.
Mark has served as a volunteer in numerous community leadership positions, including: United Way board chairman, Madisonville Historic District Commission chairman, Chamber of Commerce board member, Madisonville Noon Kiwanis Club board member, Community Improvement Foundation board member, Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corp. treasurer and board member, Hopkins Co. 1 Million Cups entrepreneur initiative co-organizer, and elder and board chairman at Madisonville First Christian Church.
