City Administrative Officer

The City Administrative Officer assists the Mayor in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating, and evaluating all activities and functions of the City.  The City Administrator advises the Mayor on policy formulation regarding problems in the City, and maintains direct relations with department heads on the implementation and administration of programs.  The City Administrative Officer is appointed by the Mayor.

Mr. Greg Brasher was appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council as City Administrative Officer of the City of Madisonville effective Spring 2017.

Greg comes to the City of Madisonville with many years of service at the Madisonville Fire Department.  He held various ranks at the department, most recently was Fire Chief overseeing the administrative section of the entire Madisonville Fire Department.
